Haha - 20 years ago I was more than 20 ;)

It seems you must have been busy to speak English, to learn French and have it become rusty, to make references to Spanish words and presumably to speak at least Hindi of India's many languages. Also the references you make, the way you describe things - it's not the typical 19 year old I think. Not here anyway. Your photography also has a maturity to it. It was intended as a compliment btw, in case of doubt ;)

I once went into an American store and asked for mango chutney. The manager had never heard of it. I explained. I couldn't believe it when the next time I went he called me over and told me they had chutney :D Personally I like to just eat it with poppadoms (never eaten idli unless at my Indian friends house in college and I forgot). I also love lime pickle. One of Scotland's favourite dishes is something called Tikka Masala, a Scottish/Indian hybrid invented in an Indian restaurant in Glasgow.

Happy birthday :D

Bring a jacket ;) India would be a fantastic place to visit. I think we might have to put it on the list :)

Might have to bring some extra memory cards/batteries/film for that trip!

To be honest the average 20 year old here probably is taking pics of themselves on their mobile phone and putting it on myspace ;P (My oldest daughter has already studied photography at 19 so she would be an exception)
